Couples must reside in the Turks and Caicos for 3 business days to process paperwork. Individuals who have never been married must provide a notarized affidavit from their home country plus a spare copy to be notarized on island, and obtain a marriage record index search confirming no prior marriages. Divorced or widowed individuals must submit a notarized divorce decree or death certificate. All couples must complete a declaration confirming legal age and non-relation, provide notarized birth certificates and passports, and submit a notarized legal name change, if applicable. The groom must complete a special license for the government marriage certificate. Upon arrival, couples must provide entry card copies, and all necessary paperwork will be provided by Tropical Destination Management one month prior to the wedding date for those selecting a wedding package.
